HOW:
FACE-TO-FACE MEDIATION
Face-to-Face Mediation, is also called Facilitative Mediation.
- Only conducted where there are no safety issues ( FVRO and other safety matters)
- Mediation where the disputing parties sit at the same table seeking to reach an Agreement.
- Mediation and conflict resolution is facilitated by the family mediator.
- Parties offer each other proposals for the Care and Living arrangements of their children
- Offer proposals for Property Settlement.
SHUTTLE MEDIATION
Where there are Safety Concerns
Adrams provides SHUTTLE Mediation
- Shuttle mediation is when each person is in separate rooms when a mediation is being conducted.
- Your mediator will go back and forth between the two rooms with your proposal.
ZOOM Shuttle Mediation
- Parties are in separate rooms with no contact between the each other
- Using the online Zoom platform. ( separate online wait rooms and no contact between the parties)
How:
- The Mediator presents each party with the proposals from each person in an attempt to reach an agreement or outcome.
- Shuttle Mediation carried out due to Family Violence – FVRO or other current Court orders.
- Shuttle Mediation does take longer and will attract higher fees.
