ADRAMS Mediation Services is an Experienced  Western Australian Separation and Divorce Mediation, and HIGH Conflict Resolution Service. We provide Mediation for Parenting Plans, Property and Financial Settlement. We also provide Safety Plans and issue Section 60i Certificates as required.

ADRAMS is a Solution Focused Family & Divorce Mediation Services with Little/ No Wait List with our Online Booking. Our fees are very affordable.

We offer both Parenting & Property Mediation. Our Mediation Service is particularly ideal for FIFO clients.

In the interests of maintaining the health and well-being of all staff and clients,ADRAMS Mediation Services  continue with precautionary measures, seeking electronic meetings ( zoom/ teleconferencing). We also provide Face to Face appointments between our Mediator(s) and clients according to National Guidelines.  Please advise if you have a cough/ cold/ unwell prior to your appointment.


Because of the public health concerns regarding the spread of the corona-virus, we have implemented additional policies at Adrams Mediation Services to limit the chance of any infection taking place as a result of our normal work practices.

In practical terms, we will also continue to have electronic meetings between Mediator(s) and our clients in the hope that this will limit any exposure to you in having to come to our office. It will also protect staff by limiting their prospects of exposure given the damage that would create operating our business.

For obvious reasons, arrangements may change from day to day and week to week given the current situation Australia wide and globally.  ADRAMS is committed to monitor and do all we can to ensure that our level of service to you remains the best we can provide. Additionally, to continue with business as usual, subject to these practical changes.

Purpose

In Family and Divorce Mediation, the purpose is aimed to help both parties come to an Agreement regarding their ex partner with custody of their children, or separation of their assets. As experienced Mediator(s) we assist parties to find a way forward with a solution that they can live with – An Agreement that each party can live with to move forward in their life.

Arrangements

This also includes arrangements for children after you separate/ uncouple and include:

  1. Parenting Plan for your children as to planned access for both parties to your children
  2. Child Contact Services- The Children’s Contact Service provides safe and positive contact arrangements for children whose parents are separated. ( Contact us for details)
  3. Child maintenance payments (though our Legal referrals)
  4. Finances (for example, what to do with your house, savings, other assets and debts) – Referrals to Financial Counsellor
  5. Property and Financial Mediation – to assist parties move forward, distribute their assets and liabilities.
  6. Arrangements for your children keeping in touch with their grandparents, step families, or in-laws.
  7. Safety Plans for your Safety and Wellbeing.

Little or No Wait Times

Principal Mediator Jo-Anne,  can usually book an Initial  consultation to determine suitability of your matter. Thereafter, an appointment can be made for your Pre-Mediation Appointments within 24- 48 hours subject to being appropriate, and availability.  This means for you, much shorter waiting time until you have your Appointment for Pre-Mediation session.

Mediation Bookings with your former partner, upon availability and being appropriate, can be within 7-14 days after payment of your invoice, for your initial Pre-Mediation session.  If both parties are prepared to commit to Mediation, we have little WAIT list to move forward according to Availability and Appropriate, and Safety being a priority for both parties.

Exemptions

Exemptions for Mediation do apply where Safety is an issue, and therefore not appropriate. (For example, Domestic Violence, Court Orders for Family Violence and other Risk matters/ issues).  In this case, an Exemption s60i certificate is issued by the FDRP. (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner)

Are you  a FIFO Worker and require Family Mediation ?

No problems. We can do.

  • Appointments are flexible to accommodate those with specific requirements such as a FIFO roster.
  • Mediation may be conducted in person or via telephone or video conferencing technology Monday- Friday and weekends
  • We utilise advanced technologies such as Skype, and ZOOM in locations throughout Australia and overseas. No worries!

Confidentiality

Everything you say in front of an FDR ( Family Dispute Resolution ) Practitioner is confidential. There are some exceptions, such as to prevent a threat to someone’s life/ children, health or the commission of a crime.

What is said during FDR cannot be used as evidence in court.  An FDR practitioner must report child abuse or anything that indicates a child is at risk of abuse, and this may be used as evidence in some circumstances.

ADRAMS Mediation Services (ADRAMS) provides experienced Mediation offering safe, quick, time efficient and cost-effective options to assist our clients move forward.  Our Family Dispute Resolution and High Conflict Mediation services are aimed at encouraging and assisting couples to Mediate and negotiate their own agreement. Initiative

ADRAMS offers an initiative where people can apply for Pro-Bono work on their matter with an FDRP.  We accept applications from people suffering hardship, seeking mediation and relationship mediation each month. A few applications are selected each month. Successful applicants will be advised.

Commitment

As part of our commitment to the community, Pro-Bono work is where some mediations are carried out for free of charge, or, for a substantially reduced rate per month.
